However, aging and deteriorating classrooms, labs, and facilities need critical upgrades to keep students safe and support quality instruction. Measure B is responsible, dedicated funding for TUHSD Schools.

The State does not fund facility improvements, so infrastructure improvements and upgrades to local high schools require local funding.
Following the narrow defeat of Measure A earlier this year, Tamalpais Union High School District leaders worked with the community to develop a scaled-down proposal focused on only the most essential projects. Measure B is the result.
Without Measure B, significant funds would have to be diverted from teaching and classroom instruction to fund urgent and essential repairs at our schools.
